Protea Field View

This gouache was painted almost entirely on location about a mile from our neighborhood in Kula on the side of Haleakala.  I tweaked a couple of things during “artist-in-residence” at Maui Hands Wailea.  It’s 6 x 8 on 8 x 10 watercolor board, varnished, framed and available this coming week at Maui Hands Wailea.
